CASA BATALHA
Casa Batalha, founded in 1635, is one of the oldest brands in Portugal. The brand was acquired by the Lanidor Group in 2009, bringing a unique coalition of tradition and modernity, not only in every piece of jewellery or accessory, but in all aspects of their boutiques. The brand has its origins in the Batalha family's beads manufacturing business.
Notwithstanding the Chiado fire in 1988, which destroyed everything, Casa Batalha was to rise again from the ashes and stands to this day. At present, their stores expanding beyond the borders of Europe. In 2014 Equinox has acquired Casa Batalha’s brand management in Qatar, believing it is a concept that features creativity and exclusivity. The current store projects have received much acclaim from the fans of the brand and the fashion press.
